In the 2017 edition of the Michelin Guide for Spain and Portugal, Enoteca Paco Pérez confirmed its category: for the fifth consecutive time the restaurant was awarded two Michelin stars by the French restaurant guide.
Barcelona is again one of the gastronomic capitals of Spain and Portugal, according to the 2017 Michelin Guide which was presented on November 23rd in Girona. The city’s first three star restaurant, the third in Catalonia, is one of the highlights of this year’s edition. Also, of the 15 establishments in achieving their first Michelin star, two are located in the Catalan capital, raising the number of Michelin star restaurants in Barcelona to a total of 22.
At Enoteca, chef Paco Pérez succeeded in confirming, for the fifth consecutive time, the restaurant’s two-Michelin star status. After joining the restaurant in 2008, it took the chef only two years to achieve the first Michelin award in 2010. Since 2013, when the Michelin Guide added a second star, Enoteca Paco Pérez maintains itself among the two Michelin star restaurants in Barcelona.
The list of Michelin awards of chef Paco Pérez also includes two stars for his Miramar restaurant in Llança. Moreover, he was excelled in 2014 with one star in the German edition of the Michelin Guide for his restaurant “5 by Paco Pérez”, located in the Das Stue hotel in Berlin. This way, Paco Pérez positions himself as one of the most awarded Spanish chefs with both national and international prominence.
